Jason’s first venture into music was at the age of six years old singing on a jingle that was pitched to McDonald’s. At twelve he did his first professional studio session as a background singer and by sixteen he was sneaking into Montreal bars with his guitar slung over his shoulder and getting up on stage at every jam night he could find.

This led to an illustrious recording and touring career, making records and performing all over the world with many succesful acts including Corey Hart, Roch Voisine, Amanda Marshall, Luba, Kate & Anna McGarrigle, Isabelle Boulay, France D’Amour, Richard Seguin, Luce Dufault, Marjo, Jonathan Roy and many more.

Is he as comfortable writing and producing artists as he is on stage? “Yes. The first time I layed down a guitar solo in a recording studio for a band I was working with (I think I was sixteen), I remember watching the producer and the engineer and thinking to myself - I can do this…I’m totally gonna do this! - and here I am, lucky enough to be doing exactly that! It’s what I love.”
